Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the behaviour we expect from everyone who uses 2safiri. It applies to operators, their personnel, drivers and any other person who accesses the platform.

1. Lawful operation

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing public service vehicles, parcel logistics, consumer protection, anti-money-laundering, data protection and tax.

Drivers and personnel listed on the platform must hold all required licences and permits. Vehicles must be insured and roadworthy.

2. Prohibited cargo

You must not use the platform to record, transport or otherwise facilitate the movement of: illegal drugs, firearms or ammunition without lawful authorisation, hazardous or radioactive materials, counterfeit goods, stolen property, live animals without proper documentation, human remains, or any item whose movement is prohibited by Kenyan law.

Perishable or fragile parcels must be packaged and labelled in accordance with safe-handling practice.

3. Honest information

You must not register or maintain false identities, vehicles, routes, fares or parcel details. You must not impersonate another operator, driver, passenger or sender.

4. Treatment of passengers and recipients

Personnel must treat passengers, parcel senders and recipients with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats or violence are not tolerated and may result in immediate termination of your account.

5. Advertising content

Where ads are enabled, content must comply with applicable advertising standards and Kenyan law. We do not allow content that is obscene, defamatory, deceptive, encourages illegal activity, or targets children inappropriately.

6. System integrity

You must not attempt to disrupt the platform, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, scrape data at scale, run automated abuse, or use the platform to send unsolicited communications.

You must not share credentials, attempt to access other accounts, or bypass access controls.

7. Reporting abuse

If you become aware of conduct that breaches this policy, report it to support@komiut.com. We will investigate and take action where appropriate.

8. Enforcement

Breaches of this policy may result in a warning, removal of content, suspension or permanent termination, and reporting to law-enforcement authorities where required.
